About Mount Cup (Dabble Grey Ash Blue)
Greyish Stoneware. Speckled, Soft and Rich, Flavorful.
Symbolizes Unique, Abundance, Organic and Love.
Dimension: 8cm Dia by 6cm Height

About Technique
The piece is carved from a cylinder with a flexi metal piece. The tearing mark on the mount cup is created by shoving the metal piece into the clay cylinder and peeling it away in various direction. For glazing wise, tape is use to mark out the triangular shape that suggest mountain, leaving some parts unglaze, glaze and overlay for variation. The bisque piece is also wash down with iron oxide first before glazing to highlight the crevices and designs, also, the presence of the oxides will create more element of surprise to the overall finishing.
The piece is fired in an Electric Kiln to 1215 Degree Celsius
