CELEBRATION (GOOD FRUIT VESSEL)
These pieces were created as part of an exploration to "Play with Colors." In the studio, Synceramic uses a variety of colors from commercial sources and is always intrigued by how different glazes will interact when combined in various ways. She has also collaborated with different assistants, viewing it as an exchange of energy and perspective. Often, Synceramic provides her assistants with a set of instructions, and the results vary, depending on the unique approach of each assistant and the different periods in which they work.
For the Celebration series, the goal is to portray the vibrancy and energy of colors coming together, reflected in a bowl form. This piece invites collectors to present it alongside all things good for the table.
