SGD 300.00

In our 4 sessions of Wheel Throwing Basic Workshops, students will learn how to center a clay, cone the clay, to do opening and also lifting the clay to a cylinder, then forming it to a cup, bowl and plate.

Students will accumulate some 6 to 8 small pieces during the first two lessons, and will learn to trim these pieces on the third lesson. Glazing will take place on the final lesson.

Although these techniques may seem conventional and common, students at SYNC STUDIO are generally encouraged to take up fun and interesting subjects and forms. Here, we will heavily explore the usage of tools and also different clay type in various state of matter.

After this 4 sessions, students will be encourage to take up Basic Hand Building Workshop I (4 sessions by the table), to have a more comprehensive learning experience.

Students may progress to Basic Wheel Throwing Workshop II, then Intermediate Wheel Throwing Workshop I, for progressive learning.
